Welcome to Amsterdam Kids Directory (“we”, “us” or “our”). We’re an online platform that connects families with child-friendly services, places, and events in and around Amsterdam.
By using our website, mobile apps, or any related services (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you’re under 16, you can only use the Service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
If you are registering a business account, you confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of that business.
Personal Accounts: You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
Business Accounts: Must include correct details about your business, location, and services.
Keep your password safe — you’re responsible for all activity under your account.
Listings must:
Be relevant to families and children in Amsterdam or the Netherlands
Be accurate, lawful, and respectful
Not contain inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
We may review, edit, or remove any listing that doesn’t follow these rules.
Reviews must reflect real experiences.
No spam, offensive language, or promotional material.
You retain rights to your content, but by posting it, you give us a licence to use it for operating and promoting the Service.
We’re not responsible for the accuracy of user-generated content but may remove anything that breaches these Terms.
Subscription details and prices are listed on our pricing page.
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change — we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice.
You can cancel anytime via your account; your plan will run until the end of the billing period.
EU law gives you a 14-day right to cancel a subscription unless you choose to start the service immediately and waive that right.
You agree not to:
Break any laws or encourage others to do so
Post false, misleading, or harmful content
Harass or abuse others
Try to hack, damage, or disrupt the Service
Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools without our permission
We handle your personal data in line with our [Privacy Policy]. This explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the GDPR.
All content and design of the Amsterdam Kids Directory is owned by us or our partners.
You can’t copy or use it without permission, except for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do our best to keep information accurate and up-to-date, but we can’t guarantee it.
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience from using the Service, except where Dutch law does not allow us to exclude liability (e.g. for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
We’re not responsible for third-party websites or services linked from our site.
We may change or improve the Service over time. We may also update these Terms — if we make significant changes, we’ll let you know via the Service or by email.
You can delete your account at any time.
We can suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or act in a way that could harm other users, us, or third parties.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be handled by the courts in Amsterdam.
